Born in Kocaeli in 1981, Tankut Çığır has been working as a professional for 17 years.

After completing Kocaeli Anatolian High school, he graduated from Marmara University, Industrial Engineering department.

After that, he received his master’s degree at Marmara University in Engineering Management, and took Leadership and Entrepreneurship lectures at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). At the same time, he completed his MBA at Sabancı University.

Tankut Çığır started his professional life in 2002 and joined DenizBank A.Ş. as Commercial Banking Marketing Associate in 2005.

After starting to work in Work Solutions Team at Türk Ekonomi Bankası in 2007, he joined DenizBank in 2010 again. After working in various positions for 7 years, he is still working as the HR Analytics and Deniz Akademi Senior Vice President.

Tankut Çığır has previously given lectures such as in-house Entrepreneurship, Basic and Advanced Excel, Business Objects, Problem Solving Techniques in TEB and Deniz Academy. He is also giving Entrepreneurship and Innovation lectures at Bahçeşehir University as part of the MBA program and Education-Development and Strategical HR lectures in Human Resources Master’s programme as a visiting lecturer at Bilgi University.
