Tanzer Bilgen, after graduating from Istanbul German High School, completed his license in Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. Tanzer has 8 years of management consulting experience at global consulting firms (Boston Consulting Group & Accenture) and led many projects in Turkey and Gulf countries. Following his Project Coordinator role at BCG, he co-founded Doktar in 2012.

As CEO and co-founder of Doktar, Tanzer is aiming to serve small farmers who have difficulty to access agricultural technical knowledge. Doktar provides personalised advice to 110 thousand farmers planting 109 different products about tillage, fertilization, irrigation and preventive spraying according to field’s location and the phenological developments. In 2013, 2014 and 2015, farmers who have applied the recommendations of Doktar, increased their average income 25% per harvest.
