After graduating from the university as a chemist, Can, worked in several Cosmetic companies in R&D and Management Departments until 2012. In addition to the experience implementing several successful R&D projects in these companies , he also gained double-Master Degrees in Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetic Science from Ege and Yeditepe Universities.

During this period as a Technical Consultant in Health Care companies he implemented several R&D turn-key projects, and acted as an University-Industry Collaboration expert and advisor at Yıldız Techno Park.

Being a game-changer in Health Care ecosystem, in 2016 Can and his rockstar team established a new company AxolotlBio producing 3D Bioprinting Systems and Equipment.

AxolotlBio 3D Bioprinting Systems creates high-resolution desktop 3D bioprinters and bio-ink, capable to produce functional three dimensional living tissues. Aiming to reduce high costs of traditional 3D bioprinting systems, the accessibility to researchers and flexible open system architecture for bio-design is making AxolotlBio the number one platform for leading bioengineering laboratories around the world.
