Özgür Dumlu is currently leading the Big Data Platform business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Turkey and develops the market for the Big Data technologies used by big data companies like Facebook, Twitter, Criteo etc.. He joined HP back in 2007 right after finishing his studies at Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen and California State University Fullerton. After participating in a Sales Trainee Program he took ownership of Healthcare & Pharma clients like Fresenius, Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche and then became Global Account Manager of Deutsche Telekom. In 2013 he joined the Big Data Software team in Germany and was mainly responsible for Automotive & Manufacturing clients. As of August 2015 he moved to Turkey and is now responsible for all activities around the Big Data software solutions Vertica, IDOL and Haven on Demand helping clients to derive actionable insights from structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
